Position: Executive Director – Capital Markets & Strategic Partnerships

Location: London, Hong Kong, or other locations where the Group’s overseas enterprises are based in Europe

Experience: 15 years

About the Role

We are seeking a highly accomplished capital markets professional to strengthen the fundraising capabilities and build strategic partnerships that will power the next stage of growth in our insurance sector. Operating at the Business Group level, this role will design and execute complex deal structures, develop innovative capitalization strategies, and connect with top-tier global investors and strategic partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute capital raising initiatives across debt, equity, hybrid, and structured instruments to support insurance sector expansion.
• Design, negotiate, and close complex deal structures that optimize capital efficiency and create strategic value.
• Originate and manage strategic partnerships that enhance distribution, product innovation, and investment capabilities in insurance.
• Leverage and expand a high-caliber global network of investment banks, institutional investors, and industry partners.
• Strong relationships with investment banks, institutional investors, and strategic partners worldwide.
• Monitor and analyze global market trends, regulatory developments, and competitor moves to identify opportunities.
• Work closely with leadership and cross-border teams to ensure strategic alignment and flawless execution.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from a top-tier university.
• ~15 years’ experience in investment banking (IBD), capital markets, or corporate finance, ideally with FIG sector exposure.
• Proven track record in structuring and executing complex, high-value deals.
• Strong knowledge of multi-asset capital market instruments and financing solutions.
• Extensive global network within capital markets and financial institutions.
• High cultural adaptability and ability to work effectively across geographies and diverse business cultures.
• Strong financial modelling, valuation, and negotiation skills.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin.
