Saxon Weald is looking for a strategic and inspirational finance leader to join their Executive Team and help shape the future of Saxon Weald. Job Description Lead and deliver Saxon Weald's finance strategy, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and long-term financial sustainability. Provide strategic leadership across Finance and Governance, including Treasury, Financial Planning, Risk and Governance, ensuring high performance and regulatory compliance. Collaborate across the business as well as with the Executive Team and the Board, delivering high-quality reports and insight that support decision-making and helps drive continuous improvement. Champion value for money and risk management, embedding these principles into departmental plans and performance monitoring, within a strong controls environment. The Successful Applicant Qualified accountant with senior leadership experience, ideally within social housing or other regulated industries. Proven track record of working at Director level or similar, with experience of contributing to the Executive Teams and engaging effectively with Boards. Strong understanding of financial strategy and risk management, with the ability to provide assurance on compliance and control environments. If you have previously led or worked closely with a governance function, that would be beneficial. Excellent interpersonal and strategic skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders, lead change and foster a high-performing, customer-focused culture.
