Nutmeg Operations is embarking on a strategic, multi-year programme to improve operational scale and efficiency and drive improved margin and profitability for the business.
Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic, high-performing, and experienced Operations Change & Integration Lead to join Nutmeg Operations. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving and overseeing the execution of strategic change initiatives within Nutmeg Operations. This role requires a strong leader with a proven track record in project management, strategic planning, and change management within the financial services industry.
The successful candidate will partner closely with Operations, Product and Technology Leads and Business Sponsors to define and deliver the Program Vision, developing & implementing a strong execution plan and building a data-driven decision-making organization
As a key member of our organization, the candidate will play a crucial role in partnering with automation teams to foster automation, use of data, AI / ML, and Intelligent tools & technologies to enhance operational efficiency, streamline processes, and drive strategic decision-making.
The successful candidate will be a strong communicator with outstanding executive presentation skills, with the ability to bring people together and face off to colleagues at all levels of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Program Leadership & Delivery: Lead and manage a portfolio of high-impact transformation streams, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, OKRs and anticipated benefits and operational readiness
Governance, Reporting & Communication: Establish and maintain a rigorous governance framework, including cadence of steering committees, executive forums and cross-functional working groups and provide regular, data-driven updates on progress, risks, issues and financials (costs vs. benefits) at both stream and overall program levels.
Stakeholder engagement: Build and sustain strong relationships with senior sponsors, business leads, change leads and technology partners to secure alignment, sponsorship and resource commitments
Resource & Financial Management: Partner with Finance and Business Management to track program investment, centralize P&L impact and validate realization of benefits.
Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify, assess and mitigate risks and issues across all transformation streams, escalating as appropriate to minimize impact on deadlines and deliverables.
Data, Automation & Continuous Improvement: Champion the use of data analytics, AI/ML models and intelligent automation technologies to optimize operational workflows and enhance decision-making
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science or related field; MBA, CFA or professional certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Prosci) preferred.
Extensive experience in project management within the financial services industry, with a focus on Markets and Securities related areas
Proven track record of delivering strategic change across operations, Markets or digital platforms.
Deep understanding of end-to-end operational processes, regulatory requirements and technology ecosystems in a highly regulated environment.
