An opportunity to be a Finance Director for a large, diverse, and successful company based in Bromsgrove, who have a positive work culture and really look after their employees. This role gives you a fantastic chance to be in a rewarding, impactful finance team that will operate group wide.

Main Duties:

As a Finance Director your main duties include:

* Shape and implement the organisation’s financial direction in line with its broader strategic priorities.

* Lead financial planning activities, including budgeting, forecasting and long-range modelling.

* Provide clear, well-grounded financial advice to the CFO, CEO, senior leadership team

* Ensure strong governance through effective controls, policies and compliance with charity finance regulations, SORP and the Companies Act.

* Oversee statutory accounts, management reports, audits, pensions, taxation, treasury functions and reserves.

* Develop and inspire a high-performing finance team, fostering collaboration, accountability and continuous growth.

* Contribute to commercial strategy by supporting income diversification and cost efficiency.

* Deliver financial due diligence and guidance for strategic projects, bids and partnership opportunities.

* Drive digital transformation across the finance function, ensuring information is accurate, accessible and impactful.

* Support the organisation’s climate response by embedding sustainability into financial leadership and decision-making.

Location / Office / Culture

The role is hybrid with circa 2 days in the office based in Bromsgrove. The company, despite their size, have a real family feel and look after their employees. You will have a team of your own to manage, being 2nd to the CFO.

The ideal candidate will have:

* ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified

* Charity or not for profit experience is useful but not required
