Finance Director, CURVE THEATRE

Curve is a leading producing theatre located in Leicester. We are seeking an experienced Finance Director to lead the financial function and ensure regulatory compliance and financial sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Curve’s financial function, demonstrating excellent budgetary control procedures and ensuring financial disciplines are adhered to.
• Provide strategic leadership for both the Finance and Human Resources departments and ensure the departments are staffed and resourced to a consistently high standard.
• Provide regular reports to the theatre’s Board of Trustees, Finance and Resources sub-committee and to Arts Council England.
• Provide analysis and interpretation to support individual budget holders in meeting their operational objectives.
• Contribute to business planning and policy setting across the organisation as a member of Curve’s Executive Team.

Qualifications & Experience

• Qualified accountant with significant experience in strategic financial management.
• Experience of working in a senior management role in a similar sized organisation is essential.
