Job Title: Finance Director – Group FP&A
Location: Covent Garden, London (Hybrid)

We are hiring a Finance Director – Group FP&A to join our Finance team at BSI. This is a senior leadership role with strategic influence across BSI’s global finance function. You will lead the global FP&A team, driving insight, alignment, and clarity in how we plan, forecast, and analyse financial performance across the business. You will support the CFO and Group FP&A Director with long-term planning, monthly performance reporting, and transformation initiatives—including leading the new Finance Information Management (FIM) workstream within the ERP programme. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially astute, data-driven leader who thrives in complex, global environments and enjoys shaping process and system improvements at scale.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and manage BSI’s Group-wide financial planning and analysis processes, covering £800m+ in revenue and £100m+ EBITDA.
  • Lead the global performance reporting strategy, ensuring clear insights, KPIs, and timely outputs that support decision-making at Board and Leadership levels.
  • Design and oversee BSI’s planning cycles, including long-range strategic planning, annual budget setting, and in-year reforecasts.
  • Drive actionable insight by identifying risks and opportunities across business performance and investment activity.
  • Build consistency between planning and actuals, overseeing P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow consolidation.
  • Lead the new Financial Information Management (FIM) workstream within the ERP programme which will design standard future state performance driven reporting and KPIs for the Group.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the Group FP&A team to deliver excellence, efficiency, and insight.

About You

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with extensive post-qualification experience.
  • Proven track record in Group or divisional FP&A leadership within a complex, international business.
  • Deep knowledge of integrated P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow modelling.
  • ERP and reporting system transformation experience required.
  • Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills; SAP/HFM experience preferred.
  • Able to distil complex information into meaningful insights and present to senior stakeholders with gravitas.
  • A collaborative, pragmatic, and curious mindset—proactive in driving change and value.
