Marks Sattin Executive Search is partnering with a PE-backed specialist B2B Technology Services business to recruit a Finance Director. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to join the leadership team, to enable broadening the addressable market through supporting sustainable growth in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

The Finance Director will play a critical role in bringing financial acumen, commercial insight, and operational discipline to the business. You will work closely with the CEO and investors, ensuring financial strength and supporting the company's ambitious growth.

The ideal candidate will be a capable and commercially savvy finance leader who can make a transformative impact in a high-growth, client-focused business.

Responsibilities

• Embed operational excellence and discipline.
• Act as a proactive member of the SLT, get behind the numbers, demonstrate curiosity in both clients' businesses and the company itself, and provide clear input to strategic discussions.

This role is a strategic finance leadership position designed to support rapid growth and client-focused delivery.

The Ideal Candidate

• Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/ACMA).
• Experienced as CFO, Finance Director, or Financial Controller in a PE-backed business; the business would also consider candidates stepping up from Practice.
• Strong expertise in financial planning, KPI frameworks, and operational reporting.
• Hands-on leadership style with the ability to influence at Board and investor level.
• Comfortable operating at pace in an entrepreneurial setting.
