Marks Sattin Executive Search is partnering with a PE-backed specialist B2B Technology Services business to recruit a Finance Director. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to join the leadership team, to enable broadening the addressable market through supporting sustainable growth in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

The Finance Director will play a critical role in bringing financial acumen, commercial insight, and operational discipline to the business. You will work closely with the CEO and investors, ensuring financial strength and supporting the company’s ambitious growth.

Responsibilities

• Drive growth through meaningful financial insights, supporting innovation across the organisation, and embedding operational excellence and discipline.
• Act as a proactive member of the SLT; get behind the numbers, demonstrate curiosity in both clients’ businesses and the company, and provide clear input to strategic discussions.
• Collaborate with CEO and investors to ensure financial strength and support the company’s growth plans.

Qualifications

• Experienced as CFO, Finance Director, or Financial Controller in a PE-backed business; the role may consider candidates stepping up to a No.1 role, including late moves from practice.
• Strong expertise in financial planning, KPI frameworks, and operational reporting.
• Hands-on leadership style with the ability to influence at Board and investor level.
• Comfortable operating at pace in an entrepreneurial setting.
