This role isn’t about driving major transformation. It’s about keeping a growing business financially sharp, well governed, and ready for what’s next . Without losing sight of the day-to-day. You’ll be the right hand to the MD and part of a close-knit senior team. There’s potential for M&A on the horizon, and you’ll help assess and shape that. But the real focus is on the fundamentals: forecasting, budgeting, management accounts, and reporting that supports better decisions. This is a hands-on Head of Finance role. You’ll need to be comfortable rolling up your sleeves, building models, improving reporting and tightening controls will be key. You will be pivotal to help the team understand the numbers, not just produce them. The business is entrepreneurial and fast-moving, with three group entities and turnover around £20m. There’s a strong presence in the UK and growing demand in the US. There is a focus on doing things properly, building sustainable value, and being ready when opportunities land. You’ll also support governance across the business, making sure systems, processes, and controls are fit for purpose and scalable. You need to be a commercially aware finance leader who wants to make a difference in a growing business. Someone who’s confident but low ego. Sharp but steady. And happy leading from the front in a team that values substance over style.
