Overview

This is a rare opportunity to join one of the fastest growing Private Equity backed Consumer businesses in the UK with a very sizeable turnover (£200m+) and superb profitability. Our client is hiring a Finance Director to lead the finance function and to support their next exit. As the Finance Director, you will be the key partner to the board and be responsible for leading finance as well as working with non-finance to drive the business growth.

You will lead the function with a depth of skill and experience, effectively business partnering with non-finance Heads of Department to drive revenue and margin. This is a varied role involving financial control, operational strategy, business cases for new openings, and acting as a trusted partner to the COO and CEO. The role will include significant interaction with the board and investors and will manage a sizeable team.

The role is based in central London (zone 1) with hybrid working.

Responsibilities

• Lead the finance function and act as a key partner to the board.
• Provide financial control, governance, and reporting in a dynamic, commercial environment.
• Partner with non-finance Heads of Department to drive revenue and margin improvements.
• Develop operational strategy and business cases for new openings.
• Collaborate with the COO and CEO and support board and investors.
• Manage and develop a sizable finance team across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Experience in fast-paced, commercial roles with multi-site exposure (retail, leisure, hospitality).
• Strong track record in business partnering and delivering financial and operational value.

Compensation and Benefits
