About the Role

We are seeking a Finance Director to bring both strategic vision and hands‑on leadership to the Senior Team. This is more than a numbers role — it offers the opportunity to influence the direction of a respected, growing business and play a central part in shaping its future.

The Finance Director will oversee finance, IT, business systems, payroll and company secretarial functions, ensuring robust operations while driving innovation and continuous improvement. Acting as a key advisor to the Managing Director and deputising when required, the postholder will help turn strategic plans into commercial success.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with proven leadership experience across finance and operations. They will combine analytical rigour with curiosity and commercial awareness – a confident communicator who thrives on challenge and collaboration within a purpose‑led culture. Sector experience within agriculture or a closely related industry is highly desirable, enabling the successful candidate to bring a practical understanding of the sector’s unique commercial drivers, seasonality, and regulatory environment.
