Role: FD, Engineering company, Manchester. Strategic Leadership Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the company's long-term objectives.
Advise the Board and senior leadership on financial planning, investment opportunities, risk management, and funding requirements.
Participate in shaping overall business strategy and expansion planning.
Financial Management & Controls Oversee all financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and cash flow management.
Lead the preparation of monthly management accounts, board reports, and statutory financial statements.
Ensure strong internal controls, compliance with relevant regulations, and adherence to group policies.
Business Partnering & Performance Provide commercial insight and financial analysis to support operational decision-making and project delivery.
Work closely with project teams to ensure accurate job costing, margin control, and project profitability.
