Finance Director - 12 Month Fixed-Term Contract (Maternity Cover)

Accountable Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a well-respected charity to appoint an experienced Finance Director on a 12-month fixed-term contract (maternity cover).

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a values-driven organisation and play a pivotal role in leading the finance function, ensuring sound financial management, governance, and compliance. You will report into the Chief Financial Officer and manage a finance team of 2 direct and 7 indirect reports. The role is primarily focused on the day-to-day running of finance while also supporting the wider organisation's strategic objectives.

Job Duties: Lead the day-to-day management of the finance function. Oversee preparation of management accounts, annual budgets, forecasts, and statutory accounts in line with charity SORP.
