Make an impact in our Finance team The Finance Director role will be working alongside the high performing senior management team and stakeholders in driving the overall business strategy and will take full responsibility for leading the finance function. The successful candidate will be innovative, decisive, solution orientated and will enjoy developing and leading a team by communicating a clear and compelling vision and setting aspirations for a high-performance environment. Additionally, you will be responsible for (but not limited to): • Defining, developing, and implementing the financial strategy for the next 3 years • Analysing and reporting on financial performance against budget, forecasted projections and KPIs • Oversee and implement continued improvements to the Financial and Management Reporting • Managing the Finance and Billing functions of the Opus Group • Develop and implement a WCM policy for the Opus Group. Identifying a minimum Cash Level and Funding Requirements • Assessing, managing, and minimising risk to the Opus Group Manage and oversee that the Opus Group adhere to the Statutory requirements of the businesses Salary of £100-£130k DOE + share option once at CFO level 25 Days Holiday + 8 Bank Holidays Hybrid working for a good work/life balance
The talents we are excited to see You will have the following experience/skills: • ACCA/ACA or equivalent with a minimum 5 years PQE • Minimum 7 Years' commercial experience • Minimum 2 Years' experience at a Director Level • Experience in a Tech or SaaS model industry would be preferable but not essential, with a strong understanding and knowledge of a subscription-based revenue with revenues between £20-£100m • Experience Leading a funding round with investors and/or banking institutions, preparing modelling and due diligence • In-depth knowledge of accounting software, corporate principals, and financial analysis • Experience in C-Suite environment and participating in collaborating and partnering with decision making • Track Record of Leading and Directing a Finance Team • Experience with multiple accounting packages with an understanding of what solutions provide the insight and reporting required for a SaaS/Technology Company • Comfortable creating and leading presentations, both internal and external • High level of personal motivation: Aspiring to develop their career to CFO level • Positive attitude and behaviour, as well as trustworthy, credible, and reliable nature: Will challenge the status quo in a constructive manner • Ability to communicate at all levels
