Finance Director
on a 12-month fixed-term contract (maternity cover).
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a values-driven organisation and play a pivotal role in leading the finance function, ensuring sound financial management, governance, and compliance. You will report into the Chief Financial Officer and manage a finance team of 2 direct and 7 indirect reports. The role is primarily focused on the day-to-day running of finance while also supporting the wider organisation's strategic objectives.
Salary/benefits: £70,000 12 month fixed-term contract (maternity cover) Hybrid working available (must be North West Based)
Job Duties: Lead the day-to-day management of the finance function. Oversee preparation of management accounts, annual budgets, forecasts, and statutory accounts in line with charity SORP. Ensure compliance with statutory, audit, and regulatory requirements. Maintain and strengthen financial systems, processes, and controls.
