Overview

The Financial Director will provide strategic financial guidance to the General Manager and hotel team at a prestigious UK hotel and resort.

Responsibilities

  • Managing month-end and year-end processes, producing accurate financial reports, and assisting in the development of annual budgets.
  • Driving cost-efficiency and profitability; managing relationships with auditors and financial partners; coordinating internal and external audits; ensuring compliance with financial regulations and tax laws; overseeing accounts payable and receivable; and supervising payroll processing.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in hospitality finance, ideally within premium or midscale hotels.
  • Strong understanding of food and beverage and operational performance metrics.
  • Confident and collaborative in working with non-finance teams.
