Overview

A major multi-site retail group is seeking an outstanding Finance Director to play a pivotal role in its UK leadership team. With over 100 UK sites and backed by significant global investment, this group is entering a bold growth phase and we’re looking for a commercial, hands-on finance leader to help steer the business through exciting transformation. As Finance Director, you’ll work closely with the Managing Director as their strategic partner, driving business model innovation, pricing, margin improvement and more. You’ll also lead a 20+ strong finance team, oversee reporting, FP&A, treasury, risk and compliance, and champion continuous improvement following a recent ERP implementation.

What we’re looking for:

• Proven experience in a No. 2 finance role within a large business or No. 1 in a scaling organisation
• Commercially astute, with strong technical grounding across FP&A, compliance and controls
• Change-minded leader with experience in ERP and BI implementation
• Experience in regulated environments and/or private equity-backed organisations is a plus
• Dynamic, confident communicator who thrives in fast-paced environments
