Senior Recruitment Consultant at Olympus Recruitment Ltd

My client a national service industry are looking for a permanent qualified financial director due to growth within the business. This role will head up the finance team reporting into the managing director

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Statutory Accounts Preparation
• Governance and Financial integrity
• Transformation of processes
• Driving forward the growth of the business
• M&A Experience
• Proven leadership experience of financial control, over multisite organisations
• Understanding of business processes and change management
• Experience of managing internal/external audit, statutory reporting and finance transformation
• Strong stakeholder skills liaising with all levels.

Person Specification

• Practice Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA or CIMA)
• Recent experience (latest one or two roles) in a business with £90 million+ turnover
• Finance Director or second-in-command in a larger organisation
• Experience within a multi-site operational environment
• Exposure to multiple legal entities
• Demonstrable mergers and acquisitions (M&A) experience
• Strong hands-on accounting and finance oversight
• Private Equity (PE) experience
• Experience in a blue-chip environment

This role will be an excellent opportunity for a number two in finance for a large organisation (or head of finance in a smaller organisation) looking for a step up into a board level role. The role will be primarily office based, with some hybrid flexibility. The role is based in modern offices with parking and local amenities.
