Overview

You will lead a key team within our London global hub for a highly-valued, global account that blends the demands of both luxury brand building and the competitiveness and regulatory rigour of financial services.

This is a unique opportunity to work with a brand that speaks to discerning, high-net-worth audiences while navigating a complex international media landscape, client category, and client organization.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a key global media lead and primary voice for the Investment Bank division of UBS, ensuring an understanding of their needs and seamless communication is filtered through the team.
  • Build and nurture senior stakeholder relationships, becoming a trusted advisor across brand, performance, and media investment matters.
  • Deeply understand the client’s business priorities, brand strategy, and investment objectives to guide long-term planning.
  • Directly manage a team of (2) – a Manager and an Executive – within the London planning & activation team, fostering a high-performance culture with clear accountability and continuous development
  • Orchestrate the integrated media agency team – comprised of specialists across strategy, planning & activation, data & analytics, and content partnerships – to successfully execute the marketing plan for the Investment Bank division of UBS
  • Partner with counterparts across Publicis ULABS to ensure work is fully integrated between media and creative, and that optimal ways of working are in place.
  • Represent UBS, Publicis ULABS, and Spark Foundry in the trading community with key publisher/media owner partners.
  • Orchestration of, and active involvement in, the development of integrated, data-and-insight-led media strategies across digital, offline, and high-impact channels, for the Investment Bank division of UBS
  • Ensure media strategies align with the client’s overall business goals, brand positioning, and category opportunity.
  • Lead global planning approach, and full tactical planning & activation across select markets, for the Investment Bank division of UBS
  • Lead the development and delivery of reporting and analytics for the Investment Bank division of UBS (in partnership with internal subject matter experts from Data & Analytics)
  • Lead full tactical planning & activation across select market(s), for the Wealth Management division of UBS

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an Account Director (or strong SAM ready to step up) within a media agency.
  • Strong track record managing large budgets and international clients.
  • Strong track record managing clients in financial services, luxury, or premium lifestyle brands.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory considerations and challenges within financial services marketing is a plus.
  • Excellent client service and stakeholder management skills, with confidence in presenting to senior audiences.
  • Expertise in integrated media strategy (on and offline, performance, programmatic, partnerships).
  • Inspirational team leader with the ability to mentor and develop talent.
  • Strong track record of cross-functional collaboration.
  • Confident in balancing creative, strategic, and tactical variables.
  • Strong strategic and problem-solving acumen, with the ability to simplify complexity and lead through ambiguity.
