About the Role:
As Global Business Development Director, you will own the strategy and execution of the agency’s international growth initiatives. You’ll identify and secure high-value opportunities, drive multi-market business, and position the agency as a trusted partner for global brands.
You’ll work closely with the leadership team, aligning business development with creative vision and operational delivery, while leading pitches, cultivating relationships with senior decision-makers, and expanding the agency’s footprint worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a global business development strategy to drive agency growth.
- Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities across multiple international markets.
- Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and key decision-makers in target brands.
- Lead high-profile pitch processes, ensuring compelling, insight-led proposals.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align creative, production, and account strategies.
- Track and report on business development KPIs, pipeline, and revenue forecasts.
- Represent the agency at international industry events, conferences, and forums.
- Mentor and inspire teams to embrace a culture of growth, innovation, and collaboration.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Proven success as a Business Development Director or Global Growth Director within an Experiential Marketing or Events agency.
- Strong track record of generating and closing international business opportunities.
- Deep understanding of live events, brand experiences, and integrated campaigns.
- Strategic thinker with excellent commercial awareness.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Confident, resilient, and persuasive under pressure.
- Experience leading multi-market pitches and collaborating with senior internal stakeholders.
- Salary: £100K – £150K + Bonus + Benefits
