A new opportunity has arisen at NX Group within the Global Business Headquarters team. As a member of the Logistics Solutions Division, the successful candidate (all genders) will take charge of developing the newly established LLS service offering. The primary duties and responsibilities include the following:
- Business Strategy Development: Design, develop, and implement business development strategies to identify potential business opportunities where LLS service offering can be offered across all customer segments /industries
- Building a strong pipeline: Generate a strong LLS pipeline customer list through all channels / modes and utilize the existing NX sales and account's structure to expand LLS service offering to the current customer base of NX and to new customers in the market
- Lead Generation and qualification: Identify leads to whom we can take the NX LLS service offering through all possible modes of interactions / connects and create a robust qualification process to ensure the right leads are being contacted / pursued with for the next level of engagement
- Customer Relationship management: Build and maintain a strong working relationship with potential and /or existing customers so that you will be able to design a fit for purpose LLS solution for the customer
- Fit for purpose solution design: Collaborate with the LLS solution design lead / key account managers and with customer provided insights to create an LLS solution tailored to meet the customer requirements
- Proposal development and customer negotiation: Develop (in collaboration with the LLS design lead and KAM's) and present to the identified customer /lead the comprehensive proposal and do required negotiations to close the contract
- Staying updated on the industry trend: Understanding the current market trends, competitor advancements and activities, understanding emerging 4PL technologies to identify potential leads and to refine and come up with industry trending solutions which are best in class and relevant to solve customer's problem statements.
- Collaboration: Work effectively with the internal teams (across verticals and across divisions) to be able to convert the identified leads into contract closures.
- Contract Management: Manage the entire contract lifecycle starting from negotiation, contract closures and renewal
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree along with substantial experience in a leadership position within the lead logistics sector
- Able to understand the customers' business needs and then be able to help the LLS design lead to come up with a solution proposal which is beneficial for the customer
- Strong understanding of the market and end to end supply chain understanding
- Exceptional understanding of Lead Logistics related services and knowhow to establish service and infrastructure capabilities across people, process, platform, and partner
- The ability to explain the end-to-end Supply Chain process and solutions to the customer which shows the benefits / impact LLS can bring to the customers supply chain
- Understanding of competitors' service offerings and Supply Chain technologies available in the industry is a must-have skillset
- Fluent English (oral and written) skills are required for global communication. Knowledge of Japanese or another European language is a plus
- Should have logistics related work experience in the European market
- Supply Chain knowledge required across all areas i.e., Plan, Source, Make, Deliver, Return, Enable
- Strong project planning skills required with experience in managing similar projects with successful outcomes
- Excellent PowerPoint presentation, excel and Visio (or equivalent) skills
- Self-motivated with proven experience to deliver projects on time and with high quality standards
