How you\'ll make an impact

As Global Finance Director, you\'ll take ownership of global finance operations, drive standardisation, and provide strategic commercial insight. You\'ll lead a team across multiple regions, ensure accurate reporting, and support transformation initiatives that improve efficiency and performance.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading global budgeting, forecasting, and month-end reporting cycles.
  • Producing management accounts, operational performance reports, and financial analysis for leadership.
  • Managing contract and cost performance across multiple regions and business units.
  • Driving process improvements, standardisation, and operational efficiency across global operations.
  • Ensuring governance, compliance, and effective controls across international financial operations.
  • Supporting transformation projects, offshoring, or shared service initiatives to optimise cost and productivity.
  • Acting as a trusted strategic partner to senior operational and corporate stakeholders.
  • Coaching, developing, and motivating a high-performing finance team.

Why our client is excited about you

You\'re a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with 12-15+ years\' experience in senior finance roles, ideally with global exposure. You bring deep expertise in commercial finance, contract management, and multi-region operations. You are confident influencing senior leaders, delivering actionable insight, and driving operational and financial improvements.

You will also bring:

  • Proven experience in global finance leadership and managing complex contracts.
  • Strong technical skills in management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and month-end accounting.
  • Experience managing teams across multiple countries or regions.
  • Hands-on, proactive approach - you see issues and resolve them efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong business partnerships.
  • Systems-savvy with exposure to large-scale ERP/finance platforms.
  • Strategic mindset with a collaborative, team-oriented leadership style.
