Our client, a leading FMCG company, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Procurement Director to take ownership of Global Capex and MRO spend across manufacturing sites worldwide.This is a strategic leadership role with high visibility, managing global procurement strategy and building strong partnerships with stakeholders and suppliers.Key responsibilities of the Procurement Director:• Define and deliver the global procurement strategy for Capex & MRO• Driving cost efficiency, supplier performance, and operational excellence• Lead and develop an international procurement team• Manage supplier selection, negotiations, and contracts• Collaborate closely with global engineering and local manufacturing teams• Monitor markets, identify risks, and adapt procurement strategies to ensure supply chain resilienceCandidate Profile• 15+ years’ experience in Procurement, with strong exposure to Capex and category management.• Proven leadership experience, managing diverse teams and engaging with senior stakeholders• Strong negotiation skills and experience with large-scale budgets in complex environments• Background in FMCG, manufacturing, or global operations is highly desirable• Strong influencing, communication, and change management skills; adaptable and resilient in a fast-paced settingThis is a high-impact role offering the opportunity to shape procurement strategy on a global scale while working across engineering, manufacturing, and senior leadership functions.Due to the high volume of applications we receive, we’re only able to contact those selected for the next stage of the process.
