We are retained exclusively to appoint a Finance Director for a long-established, family-owned Group with a proud heritage and an ambitious outlook. The business operates across multiple markets, with complex manufacturing and international supply chains. They are well-positioned for their next chapter of consolidation and growth.

This is a classic SME Finance Director opportunity — broad, hands-on, and strategically influential. You will lead and develop the finance team, manage complex stock and working capital, oversee the banking relationship and provide insightful reporting to support the Board.

Qualifications

• Proven Finance Director experience in a complex SME or privately-owned group
• Strong cash flow, stock, and working capital expertise
• Experience in ABL financing and foreign currency management
• A hands-on and inclusive mindset and approach to leadership
• The ability to build relationships across operations and provide both support and constructive challenge
