About the role

As our Hairdresser(Bank shifts), youll play a key role in helping our residents look and feel their best by providing personalised hair care services in our in-house salon. You will ensure residents are offered a full range of services, including washing, cutting, colouring, and styling, all tailored to their individual preferences.

Heres some other important things you need to know:

  • Provide wash, cut, colour, and styling services to residents, ensuring they are given full choice and control over their hair appointments.

  • Build positive relationships with residents and take time to understand their care needs, adapting your approach if those needs change.

  • Ensure the resident experience is welcoming, friendly, and dignified at all times.

  • Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe salon environment while working.

  • Ensure towels and other laundry items are passed to the laundry team at the end of the day.

  • Report any equipment issues promptly to the Home Manager.

  • Keep track of supplies and complete purchase requests when items need restocking.
