The NHP, launched in October 2020, aims to build and refurbish hospitals across the UK, improving access to modern healthcare.As part of the next phase of mobilisation, we are recruiting a Hospital 2.0 Cost Planning Associate Director to support the cost planning of changes to the Hospital 2.0 design. Work closely with Technical Services to assess the impact of design changes between Gateways 1 & 2 against baseline budgets.Provide analysis and reporting to senior stakeholders and contribute to assurance processes. You will:Contribute to the development of cost planning strategies aligned with NHP programme objectives.Support the application of "Design to Budget" principles and value-based design.Assist in preparing assurance materials for senior stakeholders on cost accuracy and value for money.Prepare detailed cost estimates for design changes between Gateway 1 & 2.Collaborate with clinical, transformation, technical services, operational, and design teams to align cost plans with requirements.Use digital tools (e.g., BIM, CostX, cost databases) to support estimating accuracy.Support cost impact assessments for design changes and scope adjustments.Monitor inflation allowances in collaboration with the Director.Ensure cost plans comply with NHS, NHP, and government capital investment guidance.QualificationsStrong experience in capital cost modelling, benchmarking, and lifecycle costing in healthcare and/or major programme environments.Proficient in digital estimating tools (e.g., BIM, CostX).Effective communicator with the ability to present cost information clearly to varied audiences and in a variety of formats.Skilled in influencing and collaborating across multidisciplinary teams.Ability to interpret large datasets to inform cost decisions.Capable of identifying trends, risks, and opportunities from historical and real-time data.Experience in assessing cost impacts of design changes and managing contingencies.Working knowledge of NHS capital guidance, Green Book principles, and business case development.All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines. #J-18808-Ljbffr
