Position: HR Director

Location: Central London, potential for hybrid working

Salary: £90,000 - £130,000 per year, plus benefits

Are you an experienced HR leader seeking an exciting opportunity in the optical retail and eye clinics sector? Our client, a private equity owned business based in Central London and operating from a locations throughout the UK is in search of a HR Director to drive innovation, people acquisition and retention, and excellence in people management.

As the HR Director, you will be a integral member of the senior management team, contributing significantly to the success of the organisation and applying very much a HR business partnering approach to decision making.

Directly reporting to the CEO, you will oversee the daily operations of the HR department and team, while devising a strategic HR plan to support the company's growth objectives.

Key responsibilities:

- As HR Director you will supervise and lead the HR department and team

- Develop a future-proofed HR strategy to facilitate business expansion

- Handle complex HR and resourcing matters efficiently and smoothly

- Implement cutting-edge HR technology and software, including automation

- Cultivate strong partnerships with HR advertising platforms, recruitment agencies, and vendors

- Act as a representative of the company with external stakeholders, including being able to act as the face of HR at events and seminars

- Evaluate and enhance talent acquisition, reward, retention, and employee relations practices

- Offer expert guidance on employment regulations and legislation, advising on best practices with senior management

Essential qualifications:

- Extensive experience in HR management, ideally at Head of HR or HR Director level

- Understanding of retailing, customer facing, and clinical operations

- Exceptional communication skills, able to articulate the HR agenda

- Strong organisational and time management abilities

- Passionate about advancing HR best practices and culture
