We work with diverse, prestigious clients across a range of sectors and geographies, giving you the opportunity to constantly update and grow your skills for lifelong professional development.Role & ResponsibilitiesPlay a key role in developing the VAT advisory practice at Forvis Mazars, notably in Real Estate; working closely with the Head of VAT and other members of the VAT team.Deliver high quality technical advice, working with a diverse range of clients.Be responsible for the scoping, delivery and billing of client work, ensuring compliance with the firm's risk management processes.Guide more junior staff in researching and producing work that meets the firm's commitment to quality, whilst also supporting the Partner.Provide technical relevant advice on a range of Indirect Tax matters, supporting decisions with appropriate knowledge of legislation, case law, and technical analysis.Produce technical work which requires minimal review and conveys key points to clients and stakeholders in plain English.Skills, Knowledge and ExperienceThe position would suit a current senior manager with strong technical, business development and personal skills or an experienced manager seeking progression.The individual should have a strong interest in the technical side of VAT and should expect a high level of technical work commensurate with the role.Substantial experience in VAT advisory work.Strong client handling skills and the ability to develop good relationships with clients and other professionals.Excellent interpersonal, communication and writing skills.CTA or legally qualified.About Forvis MazarsForvis Mazars is a leading global professional services network.
