McBride Sport is partnering exclusively with a leading international marketing agency to appoint an Interim Account Director for a high-profile assignment with one of their blue-chip clients based in the GCC.

This is a unique opportunity to embed directly within a global brand’s organisation and play a pivotal role in transforming the way they manage and evaluate sponsorship enquiries and opportunities. The serves as the strategic lead within the client organisation, bringing structure, rigor, and discipline to how sponsorship opportunities are assessed and activated.

Key deliverables are the design and implement robust processes for sponsorship evaluation, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities whilst acting as the key liaison between the GCC-based client and the agency’s London-based team, maintaining high-level stakeholder relationships on both sides. We are looking to identify an individual capable of an immediate or short notice start who can evidence previous experience in providing senior counsel and ensure clarity, accountability, and data-led decision making throughout the sponsorship pipeline. This specifically includes:

• Experience in sponsorship or partnerships from an international agency or major brand-side role.
• Proven capability in process development, strategic planning, and analytical evaluation of sponsorship and partnership opportunities.
• High-level client management experience, with the credibility to operate at senior stakeholder level.
• Adaptability and presence to thrive in a multi-market, cross-cultural environment.
• Willingness and ability to undertake frequent travel to the GCC while collaborating closely with London-based colleagues.
• Availability through Q2 2026 to fulfil a full-time interim engagement.
