Overview

Our client, based in Woking, Surrey, is seeking to hire a Commercial FD / FP&A Controller to cover maternity leave for a 6-month period.

Responsibilities

  • Lead financial operations across EMEA, deliver critical financial insights and business intelligence to the Private Equity owners, manage commercial performance (KPIs, pricing strategy, margin analysis).
  • Support FP&A, budgeting, forecasting and analysis to inform commercial decisions.
  • Identify and implement process improvements within financial operations.

Qualifications

  • Qualified accountant with a strong track record in FP&A within a consumer-facing business.
  • Experience across blue-chip, mid-sized, and smaller businesses with an understanding of what "good" looks like in financial operations.
  • Available to start at short notice.
  • Comfortable working from the Woking (Surrey) office three days a week, managing staff remotely, and engaging with international stakeholders.
  • Experience in a small, growing start-up environment within the context of a larger, PE-backed parent company is desirable.

The salary for this position will be competitive and commensurate with your skills and experience - day rate or FTC offered.
