Overview
Purpose: To own and lead Edyn’s European corporate and MICE sales strategy, driving revenue, client retention, and market growth through strategic account management and high-impact partnerships across multiple European markets. This role will deliver sustainable growth by strengthening client relationships, optimising distribution, and representing Edyn across key international forums.
Responsibilities
- Owning and managing strategic relationships with key corporate and MICE clients across Europe to maximise commercial value, market share, and brand loyalty.
- Developing and executing a proactive corporate and MICE sales strategy, tailored to the nuances of different European markets.
- Shaping and delivering regional growth plans, leveraging market insights, corporate demand data, and cross-border opportunities.
- Leading commercial negotiations, rate strategies, and joint initiatives with multinational partners to optimise visibility and conversion across markets.
- Driving performance through preferred partnership programmes and strategic alliances with regional and pan-European organisations.
- Collaborating cross-functionally with revenue, marketing, and operations teams to ensure commercial goals are aligned and consistently delivered across multiple jurisdictions.
- Analysing performance across all European corporate and MICE channels, using insights to refine strategy and demonstrate ROI.
- Representing Edyn at key industry events, trade shows, and conferences across Europe, building visibility and influence within the sector.
- Identifying and developing new corporate partnerships, supporting expansion into untapped markets and emerging European sectors.
Qualifications
Experience
- Significant experience managing strategic corporate and MICE partnerships across multiple European markets.
- At least 7 years in senior sales or account management roles in hospitality, with responsibility for £2m+ annual business across international jurisdictions.
- Proven track record of driving revenue and brand exposure through European corporate networks and MICE sales channels.
- Deep understanding of corporate travel procurement, MICE booking processes, and distribution strategies across Europe.
- Experience managing regional, national, and international accounts with a strong commercial lens.
- Familiarity with European business cultures and market differences, and ability to adapt approach accordingly.
Skills
- Fluent in English; additional European languages highly advantageous.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder, and partner management skills.
- Strategic thinker with high commercial acumen and results-driven mindset.
- Confident negotiator with international rate and contract management experience.
- Highly analytical, using data and insights to influence sales strategy.
- Proficient in sales, CRM, and reporting platforms.
