Kid's Club Director Richmond (Midlothian)Future Opening: Kid's Club DirectorSummary Objective:The Kids' Club Supervisor is responsible for leading the Kids' Club team to achieve safe, clean, and fun child-care services and children's programs that exceed member and guest expectations. The Kids' Club Supervisor will interact positively with prospects, members, guests, and staff to ensure a positive experience.Essential Functions:Deliver the ultimate fitness experience to every member, every timeEnsure an entertaining and safe experience for members' children in keeping with company standardsCreate age-appropriate activities and programmingRecruit, train, and manage Kids' Club staffAssist in day-to-day club operations as member of management teamJob Responsibilities:Ensure Kids' Club rules and regulations are followed at all times, with children's safety as the number one priorityCreate and implement child-care schedule while staying on budgetDevelop systems for covering absences and finding substitutesSupervise and review Kids' Club staff, providing ongoing feedback and annual evaluationsCreate budget projections and financial reports for the departmentDevelop and market Kids' Club programmingShare all programming and registration information with Front Desk staffTrack revenue, payroll, and expenses against establish budgetsPrepare departmental payroll on time and accuratelyConduct emergency action drills quarterly with staffProvide ongoing child-care training for staff, holding quarterly meetingsPost evacuation routes at all Kids' Club room exits and train department and management staff on specific Kids' Club emergency proceduresProvide members and parents with consistent, proactive hospitalityRespond to any member or guest concerns or comments within 24-48 hoursUnderstand and model employee standards of conduct and ethicsUphold club building, facilities, service, program, and emergency proceduresAct as Manager On Duty when requiredMeet weekly with general managerAssume other duties as assignedWork early morning, evening, and weekend hours as necessaryRequired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:Excellent verbal and nonverbal communication skillsAbility to motivate and nurture othersStrong work ethic that includes punctuality, organization, and attention to detailAbility to maintain a friendly, enthusiastic, and positive attitudeOutwardly facing professional appearanceConfidence and desire to create new relationships quicklyAbility to quickly acquire and apply new knowledge and skillsAbility to multitask and work well under pressureProven ability to lead a teamAbility to work with budgets and money, including financial projectionsBasic computer skills (MS Office, email, MS Windows)Required Experience, Education & Certifications:High school diploma or GEDSix months' program planning experience (preferred)Certification in infant, child, and adult CPRPhysical Activities, Physical Requirements, Visual Acuity & Working Conditions:Physical demands listed here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform essential job functions.
