Lead ABL Business Development Director – Invoice Finance

If so, consider the role of Lead ABL Business Development Director in the Metro Bank Invoice Finance Team.

This is an exciting opportunity to support the launch of two new Invoice Finance products. From day one, you will provide expert knowledge on Asset Based Lending and Trade Finance, ensuring our new products are fit for purpose. You will engage with the market to build relationships and secure new business, requiring a strong network within Debt Advisory and Private Equity markets, along with detailed knowledge of ABL and Trade Finance. Reporting directly to the Director of Invoice Finance, you will also have the opportunity to build your own team.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in the Senior Leadership team to shape and launch our ABL and Trade Finance propositions.
• Create FANS by working with Introducers and prospective customers to promote our Invoice Finance offerings, especially ABL and Trade Finance.
• Build strong relationships with internal colleagues to provide a first-class customer experience across Metro Bank.

Required Skills and Experience

• Understanding of the risks associated with your role and their implications for stakeholders.
• Deep knowledge of Asset Based Lending and ideally Trade Finance solutions.
• An established network within Debt Advisory, Private Equity, and Professional Advisor communities, mainly around London and the South East.
• A passion for understanding customer funding needs and creating lasting relationships.
• Strategic thinking skills to plan and contribute significantly to new product success.
• Leadership ability to build and lead a team supporting ongoing growth.
