We are working with a leading international company who are looking for a Legal Department Director to join their London-based office on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract.

The Role:

The successful candidate will deliver strategic advice to a global management consultancy, collaborating with corporate legal departments to provide guidance on matters such as operating model design and implementation, strategy, and technology and transformation initiatives.

The candidate will play a key role in leading cross-functional teams in implementing strategic programmes. The candidate will also demonstrate a willingness to contribute to business development while managing client relationships.

Essential Criteria:

• Proven experience operating at director level;
• Previous experience delivering strategic advisory on behalf of a law firm or consultancy to a global consultancy or corporate law firm is highly advantageous;
• Strong academics;
• Demonstrable commercial awareness;
• Technically excellent;
• Negotiation skills;
• Supervisory skills;
• Ability to work independently and as a team.
