Overview

Our client, a leading Technology Services Consultancy, is seeking a director-level lawyer to join their in-house legal team. In this role, you will manage a team, serve as the escalation point for complex contractual and commercial matters, and negotiate with their largest customers and technology suppliers. You will deliver business-focused solutions, acting as a strategic legal and deal advisor and partner directly with the business, to assess and understand how risks can be managed and mitigated, while advising on deal structure and strategy.

Responsibilities

• Leading negotiations for multi-million pound cross-border complex technology-based contracts for software implementation and application management services, including regularly facing off with client legal teams and their external counsel.
• Advising the Business on potential pitfalls in design, build and run/operate proposals.
• Primarily providing support during the sales cycle from supporting the engagement teams with their responses to tenders and bid response development to negotiating contracts for services.
• Review and negotiation of engagement contracts across Consulting and MSAs/framework agreements including direct discussion with clients and their legal advisors.
• Working closely with the business to discuss and develop commercial offerings as they move to a more innovative way of pricing their services.
