We unleash the potential of organisations through the science of board effectiveness, building better businesses and benefiting society.
The Role
As Legal Director, you will be the principal in-house legal advisor for Board Intelligence Group, a fast-growing B2B SaaS business with offices in London, Stockholm, and Mauritius. You’ll have an entrepreneurial mindset, driving forward key business priorities and acting as a proactive business partner who goes beyond traditional legal advice; translating complex legal concepts into clear, actionable guidance, and working together with the business to ensure recommendations are implemented and deliver real commercial value. This is a hands-on role with the opportunity to shape the legal function.

- Stay abreast of legal and regulatory developments affecting the SaaS and technology sectors including the EU AI Act and similar emerging regulations.
- Develop and maintain internal policies and procedures to manage legal risk and support business objectives.
- Develop strategies to engage the business and its employees to provide actionable guidance on regulation that impacts the business and bridge the gap between legal and non-legal professionals. Provide training to internal stakeholders on legal and compliance topics.
- Support the business in managing and protecting its intellectual property portfolio.
- Take on the responsibilities of Data Protection Officer (DPO) for the UK company
