Overview

We are seeking an experienced Legal Director to join our Real Estate Finance team in London. This is a senior hire that will play a key role in leading complex transactions, managing client relationships, and contributing to the continued growth and development of our practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead on a broad range of real estate finance transactions, including acquisition finance, development finance, refinancing, restructuring and portfolio deals.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to lenders, borrowers, developers, funds and investors.
  • Deliver commercially focused solutions to clients, balancing legal risk with strategic objectives.
  • Drive business development initiatives, develop new client relationships, and deepen existing ones.
  • Supervise, mentor and develop junior lawyers in the team.
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing, training, and thought leadership within the real estate finance group.

About You

  • Extensive experience in real estate finance, ideally gained at a leading international, national, or highly regarded City law firm.
  • Strong technical expertise across a wide range of financing structures and transactions.
  • A track record of managing complex deals and delivering excellent client service.
  • The ability to build strong, lasting client relationships and lead on business development.
  • Strong leadership skills, with a collaborative and supportive approach to team development.
