Management Consulting Associate Director - Supply Chain - CMT Industry role at Accenture UK & Ireland. Location: London. Career Level: CL5 Associate Director. This role focuses on Supply Chain & Operations within the Communications, Media & Technology (CMT) industry, delivering advisory and transformation engagements for leading organisations.

Responsibilities

• Play a leading role in shaping and delivering innovative supply chain engagements for clients.
• Lead end-to-end strategy-to-implementation of supply chain digital and analytics capabilities (e.g., SAP, S4/IBP, Oracle, Coupa, Kinaxis, iValua, O9, etc.).
• Drive supply chain transformations aligned with client business challenges; create capabilities (process/tools/people) in line with the future operating model.
• Analyse and model financial data to support large-scale cost-reduction programs; utilize benchmarks, process definitions and value-targeting tools.
• Help clients improve business outcomes through digital planning, reporting, and analytics; harness digital and emerging technologies (RPA, IoT, Blockchain, Analytics, AI).
• Refine and optimise clients’ ability to organise and analyse financial, operational and external information to create shareholder value.
• Maintain awareness of advancements in technology and innovations across the digital, analytics, and supply chain ecosystem.
• Drive and develop vendor relationships with strategic partners; establish and strengthen client relationships with CSCO, COO, CFO, CPO and Operations executives.
• Lead business development opportunities and prepare sales proposals.
• Build and manage high-performing teams of consultants; mentor junior colleagues and contribute to global thought-leadership.
• Develop Accenture’s Supply Chain & Operations assets, tools and points of view to support sales opportunities and broader knowledge sharing.

Qualifications and Experience

• Ability to analyse complex client problems, understand financial performance links between operations, supply chain and corporate results, and think strategically to create a business case.
• Experience in the CMT industry.
• Ability to originate new work and drive the sales process; capable of managing programme management and large-scale delivery of projects.
• Experience scoping and delivering transformation and advisory solutions, with knowledge of at least one: o9, Kinaxis, SAP IBP or SAP S4, Blue Yonder.
• Commercial management of consulting engagements; ability to form strong client relationships, especially at senior levels.
• Leadership with the ability to build trust-based relationships and drive business outcomes for large clients; strong strategic thinking and team-building skills.
• Excellent written, oral and presentation communication skills; ability to structure ideas clearly and concisely; capable of developing new concepts and breakthrough thinking.
• Experience as a subject matter expert with deep knowledge in an area of expertise and the ability to advise in meetings.

• Functional experience in Planning, Logistics, Procurement, Process Transformation, and Sustainability.
• Supply chain technology and digital disruption awareness (e.g., SAP S4/IBP, Oracle, IOT, blockchain, analytics) and related systems.
• Knowledge of core supply chain business capabilities.
