Managing Consultant / Associate Director – Built Environment


Location: London Head Office

Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

Salary: Competitive + Bonus + Benefits

With continued growth and strategic investment in our Built Environment division, we are looking for a proven recruitment leader to take charge of this high-performing team, either at Managing Consultant or Associate Director level, depending on your experience.


The Role

This role is ideal for someone with a strong billing track record who is also passionate about growing and inspiring a team. You will:

  • Lead and develop a team of high-performing consultants
  • Own and deliver the strategic direction of the Built Environment team
  • Continue billing at a high level, winning new business and maintaining key relationships
  • Run regular 1:1s, team meetings and performance reviews
  • Recruit, onboard and develop new talent into the team
  • Be a visible leader within the business and part of the Senior Leadership Team
  • Support and work closely with senior leadership on company-wide goals
  • Take responsibility for performance management, team culture, and commercial success


What We’re Looking For

We are open to hiring at Managing Consultant or Associate Director level, and your title will reflect your experience and track record. You’ll need:

  • A consistent personal billing of £240k+ (for Managing Consultant level) or leading a team generating £750k+ in total billings (for Associate Director level)
  • A deep understanding of the Built Environment recruitment market
  • A genuine passion for leadership and developing others
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to build strategy
  • Excellent time management, influence, and people management skills
  • The ambition to shape a business unit and make a lasting impact
