The Opportunity

As Managing Director, you will take full P&L responsibility, setting and executing the strategic vision for the company. You\'ll lead a talented team across operations, sales, and manufacturing—ensuring excellence in quality, delivery, and customer satisfaction. This role is ideal for a leader with a strong commercial mindset and a background in sales within the glass, fenestration, or building materials sector.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the company\'s strategic plan in alignment with market opportunities and business goals
  • Provide inspirational leadership to teams across sales, production, operations, and support functions
  • Drive revenue growth through customer engagement, market development, and product innovation
  • Ensure operational efficiency, quality control, and compliance across all manufacturing processes
  • Foster a performance-driven culture focused on continuous improvement and accountability
  • Represent the company with key clients, partners, and industry stakeholders
  • Report to and collaborate closely with the Board on strategic matters and business performance

The Ideal Candidate

  • Proven leadership experience in a senior management role within manufacturing, preferably glass, fenestration, or building materials
  • Strong commercial acumen with a background in sales, business development, or commercial leadership
  • Excellent understanding of the construction supply chain and B2B sales cycles
  • A results-oriented mindset with a track record of driving growth and profitability
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Comfortable in both strategic planning and hands-on execution
