Job Description

An industry leading mechanical & electrical building services specialist are currently recruiting a M&E Project Director, in accordance with a major mixed use commercial new build development located within Central London. The business predominantly provides M&E design and installation services to the commercial office, data centre, education, healthcare, hotel & leisure, and residential sectors while working in partnership with a range of blue‑chip main contractors.

This role presents the opportunity for an individual to join a market leading M&E building services contractor and in turn gaining exposure to some of the UK’s most complex & interesting construction projects.

Duties & Responsibilities

Attend pre‑tender meetings.
Oversee preconstruction & procurement processes.
Management of site personnel (including schedule of works).
Ensuring projects are delivered in a timely & efficient manner.
Commercial acumen, regularly liaising with the internal commercial team with regards to costs of labour, procurement, final accounts etc.
Attend project meetings with clients, consultants, third party subcontractors and internal teams.
Build & maintain relationships with clients & supply chain.
MEP project management & site coordination.
Ensure HSE standards are adhered to.

Qualifications/ Education

Relevant building services or mechanical/electrical engineering qualification.
Experience managing M&E building services projects valued upwards of £5 million.
Knowledge of construction regulations and best practices.
