Responsibilities

of the Mechanical Director role:

  • Lead, develop, and inspire a growing Data Centre Mechanical team across EMEA

  • Shape and deliver technical strategies, standards, and benchmarks for complex projects

  • Partner with major tech clients, ensuring their evolving needs are met with innovative MEP solutions

  • Drive business development initiatives, expanding client relationships and supporting work-winning efforts

  • Oversee project delivery, risk management, KPIs, and commercial performance for large-scale programmes

  • Mentor and coach the next generation of engineers, ensuring knowledge transfer and team development

    • About You

  • Proven track record in delivering mechanical projects within data centres or mission critical environments

  • Leadership experience with a focus on technical excellence and team development

  • Strong business development and client-facing background across the UK and ideally EMEA

  • Chartered Engineer (CIBSE or equivalent) with a degree in a relevant discipline

  • Deep knowledge of mechanical design, engineering practices, and financial management of projects

  • Excellent communicator, confident in building strong client relationships at senior level
