Location: Central London

Salary: circa £40-50k


We are working with one of London's hottest independent agencies, hunting an exceptional up and coming Art Director to join an existing Copywriter (who is already excelling themselves). You will form a formidable team delivering eye-catching ideas that deliver for a wide range of clients.

You will excel in your craft - unafraid to get on the tools but also a growing confidence to lead colleagues - designers, producers etc to bring fresh and effective ideas to life.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Mid-Weight Art Director to bring fresh visual energy and ideas to our creative output. You’ll work primarily with a copywriter as part of a creative partnership, but you’ll also contribute solo or team up with others across the agency when needed.

This role is all about pushing concepts into bold, eye-catching campaigns that work seamlessly across integrated channels — from TV and social to digital, OOH, and print. You’ll balance big-picture thinking with hands-on craft, building visuals, treatments, and decks that bring ideas to life and sell them with impact.


Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with a copywriter to develop imaginative, original ideas across channels (TV, social, OOH, digital, print).
  • Visualise and present concepts through sketches, layouts, moodboards, storyboards, and mockups.
  • Build polished decks and presentations that sell creative ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • Work closely with designers, animators, and producers to ensure the visual execution matches the ambition of the idea.
  • Contribute actively to the creative culture by sharing inspiration, references, and fresh approaches.
  • Keep on top of visual trends, culture, and technology that can inspire stronger creative work.


What We’re Looking For

  • 4+ years’ experience in an integrated creative environment (advertising, design, or digital).
  • A strong portfolio that shows campaign-level thinking as well as crafted execution across multiple channels.
  • Proficiency with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and presentation software (Keynote/PowerPoint).
  • Confidence in communicating and presenting ideas, both internally and externally.
  • A collaborative mindset — you enjoy working closely with partners and teams to create the best possible work.
