The CompanyThis is a great opportunity to join one of the UK's fastest-growing social-first agencies, working with some of the world's most recognised consumer brands.They are looking for a strategic and driven New Business Director to lead the charge in identifying, nurturing, and closing new client relationships across sectors like fashion, beauty, lifestyle, tech, and youth culture.This is an opportunity to shape the growth of a fiercely independent, creatively led, performance-driven agency - at exactly the right time.The RoleYou'll sit at the heart of the agency's growth engine - developing outbound strategies, owning the sales pipeline, and turning high-intent interest into long-term client relationships.Responsibilities:Build and execute the agency's new business strategy alongside the Founders and senior leadership teamIdentify and engage target brands across key verticals - proactively and intelligentlyOwn the full sales cycle - from lead generation and outreach to pitch, proposal, and closeWork closely with marketing, strategy, and creative to shape pitch responses and positioningRepresent the agency externally - at industry events, in pitches, and via thought leadershipConsistently hit (and exceed) ambitious revenue targetsAbout You:5+ years in new business or commercial leadership role within a creative, media, digital agency or technology background.Proven track record of winning multi‑six‑figure accounts, ideally in consumer, fashion, or lifestyleStrong understanding of social media and digital - you can speak credibly to CMOs and Heads of Brand.Confident, proactive communicator who knows how to hustle without being pushyComfortable leading pitches, collaborating cross‑functionally, and representing a modern brand.Sphere is an equal opportunities employer.
