As they prepare for Board succession, they're seeking a Non-Executive Director with a strong focus on governance to help them guide the organisation through its next chapter. This is an opportunity to contribute to a purpose-driven organisation with a deep sense of place and community. You'll play a key role in ensuring their governance remains robust, inclusive, and fit for the future.

Job Description

• Support the Chair and fellow Board members in upholding high standards of governance
• Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks and sector best practice
• Help shape Board culture, effectiveness, and decision-making processes
• Champion transparency, accountability, and values-led purposeful leadership
• Contribute to succession planning and Board development
• Bring constructive challenge and independent oversight to strategic discussions

The Successful Applicant

• Has experience in governance ideally within social housing
• Understands the role of a NED in balancing support and challenge
• Shares our commitment to community, inclusion, and resident-focused outcomes
• Values diverse perspectives and brings lived or professional experience relevant to our work
