The culture focuses on people, partnerships with customers, and developing the team.The RoleThe Operations Director will be a key member of the leadership team, responsible for delivering business performance and improving service and capacity. You will oversee sales revenue delivery through the production, quality, maintenance and purchasing teams. The operations director will continue to improve key metrics such as safety, quality, cost, delivery and inventory.Providing strategic leadership to the operational teamsLeading GMP, ISO accreditation and quality standardsEffective P&L management with a focus on capacity management, cost control and increasing factory output and efficienciesDevelop strong relationships with the Commercial director and contribute to wider business strategy as part of the leadership teamInventory and supply chain management — set strategy to ensure effective stock managementDevelopment of systems to ensure streamlined operations and continuous improvementSet direction for maintenance, facilities and machinery improvementsThe CandidateThis is a role well suited for a proven and ambitious leader with experience of running factory operations, leading and delivering change.The successful candidate will have manufacturing experience, ideally in a personal care, chemicals, food or similar field.
