Salary: £60,000 to £75,000 DOE

The Opportunity

We’re looking for an experienced Operations Director to take full ownership of our manufacturing operations across workshop, paintshop, assembly and supply chain. This is a hands‑on, strategic role where you’ll work directly with the CEO to deliver a major operational turnaround and embed a culture of continuous improvement.

What You’ll Lead

* Full operational oversight of production, planning, quality, safety and delivery

* Transformation of workshop, paintshop and assembly performance

* Lean manufacturing initiatives across the entire site

* Supply chain, purchasing and inventory optimisation

* Coaching and developing a high‑performing leadership team

* Embedding accountability, efficiency and operational excellence

About You

You’re a resilient, results‑driven change agent with:

* Senior operational leadership experience in manufacturing

* A proven track record of operational turnaround

* Hands‑on lean manufacturing expertise (5S, CI, standard work, VSM)

* Strong people leadership and commercial acumen

* The ability to thrive in fast‑paced, evolving environments
