• £130/150k (pro rata) + options

Talentedge is partnering with an early-stage, hyper-growth omnichannel CPG (consumer packed goods) startup for their #1 finance position.

The business will close this year with over £11m in revenues (£6m last year) and is forecasting £20m next year. Their US operations are thriving, with products sold in major outlets, building on UK partnerships with Tier 1 retailers and brands.

We know the business well, having placed their first permanent finance hire (Financial Controller), who is excelling in leading the finance function.

Working closely with passionate co-founders, an impressive leadership team (including a superstar COO), Board, and advisors, this is an exciting opportunity to join a market leader with unique & custom products.

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee daily finance operations
• Transform data into insights for decision making
• Partner with Co-Founders and COO to monitor and execute the Business Plan
• Lead FP&A, commercial finance, business partnering, and KPI analysis
• Drive expansion in new markets, products, and partnerships
• Manage investor relationships and fundraising activities
• Handle cash flow, working capital, and treasury, including foreign exchange
• Develop financial systems, controls, risk policies, and multi-jurisdictional tax strategies
• Review operational performance regularly
• Track costs, especially production-related ones

Profile:

• Qualified accountant
• Experience in high-growth FMCG/CPG startups, understanding key market drivers
• Proven Finance Director/CFO with scaling experience in hyper-growth companies
• Significant fundraising experience
• US or multi-national experience preferred
• Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel proficiency
• Articulate, inquisitive, hands-on business partner
• Experience with Xero & Unleashed
