Partnership Tax Senior Manager / Associate Director Manchester Based + Hybrid working £70,000 - £90,000 + Benefits + Bonus

With continued investment in its national tax offering, the firm is expanding its Partnership Tax team to support a growing client base of professional partnerships, LLPs, and entrepreneurial businesses. Your new role:

As Associate Director, you'll be a key figure in delivering complex partnership tax advice across sectors including legal, financial services, property & private equity.

You'll work closely with Directors and Partners to shape the team's growth, contribute to business development, and ensure high-quality delivery across both compliance and advisory work.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading client engagements and managing a portfolio of professional partnerships and LLPs
  • Delivering high-level tax advisory work including structuring, profit allocations, and partner tax matters
  • Reviewing complex partnership tax computations and returns
  • Supporting junior team members with technical development and coaching
  • Building strong client relationships and identifying opportunities for added value
  • Liaising with HMRC on enquiries and technical matters
  • Contributing to internal strategy and helping drive growth in the partnership tax offering
  • Collaborating with other service lines to deliver joined-up solutions to clients

To be successful in this role you'll need:

  • You'll be CTA qualified (or equivalent) with strong experience in partnership tax, ideally gained in a mid-tier or large firm.
  • You'll be confident managing client relationships, delivering technical advice, and mentoring junior staff.
  • A proactive mindset, commercial awareness, and excellent communication skills are key. If you're looking for a role with autonomy, variety, and a clear path to Director, this could be the move for you.
