Boardroom Advisors provides Part-Time, Fractional & Interim CEOs, MDs, and NEDs; real-world Advisors who have scaled businesses. We are a team of part-time professionals helping Scale-ups and SMEs succeed. Regional Directors and Advisors are encouraged to achieve a healthy life/work balance.

If you are an experienced business person who has run your own company and have experience as a Consultant or Board Advisor, we want to talk to you. There is no entry or joining fee to this opportunity as this is not a franchise. Directors operate as an Associate, running their own region and building a team of Advisors, potential partners and clients.

You will need energy and ideas, with strong ability in business development and sales being absolutely critical. This role does not have to be full-time; most Regional Directors work 2-3 days/week alongside their own company. In return, you help build a business and share in its future, with the plan for it to be owned by senior people in the company in a 5-6 year period, likely through an Employee Ownership Trust (EOT) or similar.

This is like a franchise but with NO signing on or annual franchise fee; it is entirely fee sharing. You operate as an Associate, running your own region. The role mixes business development, sales, marketing, networking, recruitment, team management and customer service, and you must be able to sell.

Job Description

We already have over 150 very senior Advisors throughout the UK who can act as part-time Operations, Commercial or Managing Directors, or Non-Executive Directors. Regional Directors can also be Advisors if they wish.

We are looking for Regional Directors in several areas of the UK, with emphasis on London, East Midlands and Scotland.

Background

The company was founded by John G. Courtney. John has started 7 of his own businesses and has been highly ranked on the Top 100 Entrepreneur’s List by City AM. He was twice shortlisted for Best Mentor/Advisor and received a Lifetime Achievement Award in 2018 by techSPARK.

John has been a Board Director for over 40 years, involved in placing Non-Executive Directors for over 25 years, trained as a strategy consultant, ran a Management Consultancy for 10 years, and ran a Digital Agency for another 10 years.

Boardroom Advisors are real-world advisors who have had their own companies, made mistakes, learned from them, and built many successful businesses. They bring extensive experience.
